The most common symbology is found in the urban landscape in Belgium. Old buildings such as churches or old infrastructures have symbology/ value to the common people. People consider the church tower or townhall as their own. where they won't feel that same connection with a valuable tree with historical and cultural symbology. There are a lot more elements in the landscape with much more historically grown symbology, however most of the people don't know this symbology. Therefore I haven't chosen these elements, such as memorial trees/ Liberation trees , bunkers, monuments, Landscape relicts.
