Santa Tereza's viaduct was designed to be a symbol of modern urban ideas and of the brazilian progress in urbanism. Then it became the image of urban space segregation, meaningless for society and harmful area for pedestrians. It's just recently that the poorest and the outcasts could turn this reality into a democratic space of sharing cultures and values because of their need to have position and consideration in the urban reality. Every week underneath the Viaduct a urban music competition takes place, joining people from different social backgrounds.description of the symbolism, interpretation, as well as geo-location

Municipal park in Belo Horizonte is a landscape symbol of democracy. It was founded before the foundation of the city itself to keep a part of original forest as a park. After the urbanization of Belo Horizonte, it was reduced to a quarter part of the original project but still nowadays it's one of the few green and public spaces into the city of 2 million inhabitants. Here everybody can rest far from cars, homeless people as well.

I was born in Paris and my girlfriend sent me this picture a few minutes ago and she said : „My love, I would like to take a picture with you like this“. She owns this monument in her room since her childhood and it's her deep dream. At that moment, I immediately saw that we commonly agree this „thing“ as a symbology. It's a matter of eternal love ❤️
