Participants' answers
- My experience is that e.g. participation process often involves acadmic and middle-class residents
- Farmers affected by wild boar damage. They were left out of the decision over the change in hunting laws that was meant to address the wildlife management issues. Two reasons. Lobbyists were consulted and the authorities did not consult those affected
- landscape maintenance workers
- people that work in an area, they are there most of the day, so therefore most of their life, but never consider in having the say; or arae involved
- children are out of landscape consensus-building
- Young individuals (under 23) are generally considerend as 'unworthy' to debate with about important landscape cnahnges and decisions
- Young people- because their are not expected to understand
- those who suffer from a language barrier
- multitasking parents who never have time to get involved with the usual suspects - leads to an unwelcoming environment for kids in many places

- From my experience older generations are partially left out from partecipatory processes
- Actually I don't know because I don't have enough experience about participation process
- Trendsetters. People who we look upon as non-experts

- Primary and secondary school students are not engaged in the decision-making processes for open space in my town. The meeting environment does not work well with their schedules and often intimidates the young students to attend from participating.
