The readings in group C, portraits a series of analysis of the different definitions of landscape and the way it is reflected through the roles of images. From natural, habitat, a system or the aesthetic, the beautiful or an ugly, the landscape is seen due to values and interests we share as an individual or as a group. In the eyes of a child, the landscape is always beautiful. What is the role of the man and the role of the designer in a landscape? Where are both involved?

My architectural philosophy? Bring the community into process. This is a Ted presentation by architect Alejandre Aravena. Here he talks about power of design synthesis and involved people in design process.

Scoring Collective Creativity and Legitimizing Perticipatory design by Randolph T.Hester explain Public participation on landscape decision making. And in that reading main highlighting methods is Larry Halprin RSVP cycle. He mentioned that Halprin followed process oriented method not thing oriented.Randolph also shed light on evaluation of participatory design process which has 7 criteria: democratic process, community consideration, environmental justice, learning opportunities, power distribution, ecological considerations and design outcomes.

Landscape as Ecology- the mankind should be integrated and the structures as landscape ecology; culture structure landscapes. The cinematic real landscapes show the hurricane Katerina, and its moral questions on natural and man-built environments?

European Landscape Convention is adopted by the committee of minister of the council of Europe .They works on protection of landscape and promote awareness, provide training and education, set policies and implement them. They focus on sustainable development of social needs, economy and environment. This convention also encourage public participation on landscape decision.

The coming of globalization and advance technology versus the replacement of the social and political, men with the private man; which in their own right create individualistic landscape.In this context the city (in global context) is too small for the problem; and in individual context the problem is too small for the city. There are reasoning theories, talking about new planning structures and the intelligibility explaining on how the new inhabitant of Zwischenstadt would have new social ties (not traditional family and friends, rather as individual); flexible working hours; multidisciplinary and with a holistic approach; the place with new identity to strengthen participation as a new relationship for culture and politics; the landscape of segregation, and the raising of the individual as a class disintegration, opportunities equal for everyone.
