These are the "Due Torri" (literally two towers) Beside them San Bartolomeo Cathedral.

Bologna has been built by rich merchant and in it history it was outside the Vatican's Reign During century the Church built inside the historic Wall grown considerably with wonderful building. All Bologna was surrounded by brick towers (almost 100) because every rich family want to prove their economical effort with its. Behind these two tower we can appreciate the church of San Bartolomeo,its portico was built for the Prior House in 1300 but later in 1500 it became the entrance for the church.
