The two towers "Garisenda" and "Asinelli" are the symbol of Bologna. Builted about in the 12th century, they are situated in the heart of the city and are the main landmark of all the town. The high one is about 100 meters high: there are, and there can't be, an higher building in the historical centre, so the towers are also a perfect visual landmark.
