This document summarizes the development of a cross-disciplinary and cross-cultural European certificate ‘Landscape and Democracy’ as part of the ERASMUS+ Strategic Partnership Landscape Education for Democracy (LED).

The certification system is based on a qualification methodology and allows for recognizing learning and experience gained outside formal education and training. The objective of the certificate is to make the course inclusive and to address the needs of both formal students and practitioners in the field.
