What is in your opinion this design's contribution to democracy?

• I think that if the tree is the unit, where is people gonna gather? I'm not sure that this design helps democracy
• the symbol unit(=person) and democracy(=population) is really clear , but I don't know if it can work
• look like this is a public space where everything is decided top-down but it would be better to look the process... the landscape is "edited" by people
• it is very difficult to judge a project in a specific culture...I personally know that noth african citizens use natural landcape as a *place for holydays.... and free time.... public space is dressed for free time here
• it mix nature and the man necessity for order
• I love the quote! it has a very inspirational meaning leading to democracy
• make awareness or reminds democracy
• in middle east squares has a great role in city design.... this is a place to bring people together. and we had experienced lots of time *the start of major protests was from main squares, that is why they destroyed the main square of Bahrain after some protest
• the concept of the design sounds good but the way that how they applied ,To me is a it not organized !
• designers aid democracy, but democracy is made only by people

• It does not make any new addition because this square does not need a redesign or development

• a garden also has rules, otherwise the strongest plants would take over

• I'm not sure how dense is it, however, the idea should bring a pleasant space to be

• The concept of the project focuses more on the design than on the people. People are the democracy, the design should deal with their behaviour in such events.
• it forms a interesting area to visit, however i'm not convinced that only trees give a place that everyone appreciates
