I personally believe it's an interesting challenge to bring the best of both community friendly and commercial friendly approaches to one place.''

Tegucigalpa currently lacks of public spaces and therefore the boulevard is used at early hours of the day as a place to walk the dog and or jogging. It is also used at early hours because sidewalks are in really poor conditions and people are forced to use the streets for their pedestrian recreational activities. The hour is vital since its the only moment in the day when cars are not present. The second problem of the boulevard is that it was named after an historic character of the Honduran history, but its actual character has being overtaken by american franchises that impoverish the urban image, leaving no space for public space and a less generic identity. ''
