here is one of the most important historical intersections in heart of Tehran, which is called City Theater. Not only is it an urban symbol, but it also is the start point of most urban protests. In all seasons and all days here is full of people, with different incomes and life styles. The other interesting fact is that City Theater is the only place in Tehran for Transsexual men and women to gather without any negative feedback for normal people, even though transsexual people are not accepted in Iranian society in normal conditions or places.
The building has a special architecture, you can see the graphical symbol of this building in Tehran silhouette beside Milad Tower, Azadi Tower, etc. most nights the best theaters run here. So the park and whole space are active at nights.
